Little Surprises

Just ate an unhealthy amount of pig's trotters , now i feel fatter .

My day was spent listening to music . Where ? Different performances at different areas . Firstly , i got tricked by SiHan to this Christmas celebration performance in Emmanuel House , which is obviously a church thing . Well , at least things werent that bad . If i were in CHC , i think things might be worst . Religion is a sensitive issue , so i shant talk much about it ... However , i think i kinda enjoyed myself there . The performances were not only interesting , its funny and i think its rather creative . The people there were welcoming , and of course , friendly . I got to know this lady called Nancy . She is a junior of QuekLingKiong when she was playing Cello in Dunman High . Well , then we talked about the conductor , as u all know ... and his habits . Well , nice knowing her ... and i think she arranged the pieces that the strings played , because i saw her name , well , i think she is talented . The drama was indeed dramatic ... I loved the acting part by Santa Babarina ... its damn funny ... and of course not forgetting the Japanese girls . Well , surely i did enjoy myself , thanks to SiHan , but please , i dun really wish to attend another surprising performance like this ...

After which , we went to SiHan's place , there's a house concert . He's father's students played for the small little concert in his house . I think its kinda amazing ... and kinda spoiling the market also . The pianist was Albert , some very good pianist who played MrGoh's works in the composer's music platform . Anyway , i think the kids played really well . SiHan played Bach's Cello Suites and he even told the audience that Bach composed it in Cothen , which i am not really certain about .

Well , im not dumb , how many times must i repeat that . Anyway , i can see things as how it is , because it takes one to know one .

I think the tone was very wrong . Im not a slave and i dun intend to be treated like one . Well , im not talking about u if u think i am .

Well , heard from YiLeng that the concert by SYCO and SCO today isnt good . Well , sorry XinTian because i couldnt go down to support ... but actually maybe i've expected something like that for an answer . The dynamics of the orchestra is always neglected ... maybe not in short phrases , but as a whole stretch of the piece . And of course , the tone ...

People can say about things that ive said , and yet i cant say things that they've said . So , afterall , they'll be the good guys , while i take the post as the villian again . Sad ...

I think the music industry in Singapore is really bad . Im refering to the Arts one , not the pop type ... Anyway , i think young talents became more and more arrogant . This attitude destroys the purpose of music . I think musicians should really reflect on the main reason why they play music ... isit because of competition or just to showcase their talents ? I dunno , to me , i think these people are not only disgusting , but they're ruining this appearance of music that our ancestors built . Forget about all the boasting about talents and the attitudes for seniors ... i think its really hopeless ... because the problem doesnt root back from the students ... its all the fault of the teachers ! Like some ... hopeless teachers , who teaches all the bad and twisted principles . Fuck them hard seriously !
