Mud Hut

Well , i thought that was it . No blog for tonight's entry , but who knows ... ? There's a computer at the reception counter at the resort . So , here i am , blogging , leaving the gang alone over at the pit , struggling for survival .

Its very hard to type here , especially the spacing ... So , bear with it , WeiKang .

So , i woke up kinda late , expecting the meeting at to be slightly later than the original planned time . Mom told me that we'll be able to make it in time . But i doubted so , because ... we're already short of time , and we've to eat with uncle , and i havent gotten the drinks yet .

I feel like changing my computer ... but the other one aint working . We tried earlier ...

Well , anyway , brought Dickshen along ... and we went to eat . Its horrible , because they ate turtle soup . I dun like eating such weird creatures ... it makes me sick , and i dont think its such a good idea too . Mom was having some problems parking her car because there's one very inconsiderate driver , who parked his car along the road , meaning ... not in the lot . So , Mom was having difficulties trying to park her car , while the traffic has to flow and the other cars behind has to move on . So , there was one taxi which stopped , and thought that Mom wanted to leave the lot . So , all the car stopped behind the taxi , and waited for my Mom to move . She did move , but her purpose was to park the car , not to leave . So , the driver came out , and told my Mom that its alright to come out ... Like as if she doesnt know . The whole crowd at the coffeeshop was like an audience , watching Mom park her car . So , there was another lady who scolded Mom for parking too out . Sure , she was out , but she was trying to park in ! Stupid fuck ! And anyway , its not Mom's fault at all ... thanks to that inconsiderate old uncle driver who parked his car out of the lot . Dumb fuck ! Irritating people ... Anyway , Mom's parking today was bad . Really bad . She took so long to get her car into the lot . But , she was adamant ... and she came out of the car feeling angry ... and she told me that everybody is blind ! Kinda true ...

After eating ... its just ten minutes before 1 pm , our meeting time . So , i made a call ... and SiHan told me that he was already there ... with Mark . Samuel would be late , and that'll mean , really late . So , i took my time ... but rushing Mom to go buy the drinks with me .

So , we went NTUC , and i bought around 8 big bottles of drinks , and it cost me around $13 . I mixed around , and i bought mostly soft drinks , just one or two tea and stuff . I was in the queue , and waiting for my time to pay the money of the drinks . But , who knows ... ? Im either super slim , or im invisible . These old ladies came into my line , right infront of me . And , when im in a rush , im easily pissed . So , there i was ... staring at their white heads , with red burning across my face . I looked at them in disgust ... and i quickly took my basket and put it on the counter . The lady went ahead , and another went for another shorter lane . U know , these are human instincts ... look around the lanes , and see how many people , and next ... see what they're buying . So , there was this Indian man , and he was ready to pay for his purchase . But , he got this $30 voucher , and he needed 50 cents more to completed that amount . Reasonably , he went to find something which cost 50 cents . So , he held he line , and everybody waited for him ... Idiotic ... ? No , realistic human .

After paying , i went off ... carrying me super heavy drinks , around 8 kg in total , because its all a litre each ... i think . So , i got into the car , and i complained to Mom , and she didnt say anything . So , she got me to HaborFront Cetre , and i dropped off . Headed towards the information counter , and this Malay lady was very rude ... she was on the phone , holding on to a line , and since she's free ... she could answer me , but she didnt . She told me to wait . So , she gave me this weird face when she told me where the ColdStorage was . So , i scolded her back . Not really scold , but just a very pathetic statement .

Saw SiHan in his light blue shirt , standing there , calling somebody ... and watching over a hell lot of food . I dunno what was that , but after i saw him ... i took a rest by putting down those heavy drinks . So , Mark came later ... and we started talking ... about silly things and stuff . Shortly , QingLun and HuiQi came . We talked about the silly mutants of the movie ... and stuff ... and we waited for very long , for Samuel . Before he arrive , Laurel came ... and so , we took a seat and accompanied Mark for lunch . His lunch . Well , the waitress was horrible . So , nevermind ... i gave her a weird face before we left ... when Mark was paying for his food .

Samuel came by a cab . He should take the MRT down , cheaper , then we hail a cab from the centre itself . But well , we got there fast ... and Laurel , SiHan , Samuel and i took the cab in , to the resort . The driver was nice , talkative and of course ... entertaining ... ? We paid $2 each for the entrance fee ... and we found our resort shortly after . So , we heard that its hut . Thankfully , its not a mud hut . But sure enough , Samuel's right ... its super small .

Nobody wanted to take the chicken wings , because its wet . And well , i carried some light stuffs , or quite heavy ... but cannot be compared to Laurel , he took all the heavier loads . We went to the receptionist , and we got our keys . Its the small brown hut that i saw when we drove in !

Goodness ...

Its really great . Its cozy , small and very ... comfortable . Perfect love nest for couples , and for hobbits . So , its dark , damp and ... its warm . Totally perfect for a lovely overnight stay !

The light was on , but we couldnt see no shit . Its dark ... really dark . And soon , Evan and Jwen came . They paid the $10 first ... and for that , at least now we've a bit of some money . SiHan spent around $98 for this outing . For me , i spent around $23 , because i paid $10 for the BBQ pit . And for Samuel , he spent around $10 already , other than the food that his parents paid for . So , we're broke . Especially our dear , SiHan .

We were slacking in the room ... wondering where to go . Samuel wanted to get out of the hut eagerly , but SiHan , Laurel and i stayed in the room ... relaxing ... and chilling down . So , after the 2 girls came , we went to the beach . I called YongRui , and told him to bring some foils and boxes . Thanks to him , he brought some later , during the evening .

So , saw many of them coming ... after we stood around in the sand for a while . We were walking and sitting at the jetty , or so thats what SiHan calls it . Its actually just a small fragment of this bridge , sticking out towards the sea . So ... anyway , we sat around , and Samuel was busy taking pictures ... I brought along my small new bag , and it was kinda handy . It contained everybody's wallets and handphones . Soon , we got ourselves really tired ... when someone suggested to play this catching game . So , Jwen and Laurel became the catchers , and we ran around the beach ... like some mad cows . Do cows run ? Anyway , so ... we got really tired after running under the hot sun . Shaun went into the sea , and the rest went to take a break under the shelter of the life guard's tower . I was sitting there , trying to get away the sand from my eyes and my hands . Rubbing my eyes all over , and feeling a great deal of discomfort . Anyway , we did nothing much ... and we just slacked around . Shaun got back on land , and we took a group picture , with the kind life guard as our photographer . So , did anybody drown when he took the pictures for us ?

Many weird poses , and many weird pictures . There was this stone , and everybody got onto it , slowly ... with persuation . They first got up , and i didnt want to ... soon , they started calling my name , and well ... i got up . The last one was ... Felicia . She didnt wanna go up the rock at all . Its very hot up there . So , some nice Indians took the pictures for us . I took quite a while to realise that im parched ... and i need to get rid of that thirst . SiHan , Laurel and i went to this shop nearby , and got ourselves a drink . Its expensive , i know . Laurel didnt wanna spend , so ... i gave him some of my drink .

Im hungry now , and they are all having fun , i suppose , at the BBQ pit , eating . So , i think i'll go there and eat first . I'll be back to finish up the blog entry tonight , later . So come back again .
